Sample Dabble: Beauty Army

Hey Lovelies,

As I continue to immerse myself in the Blogging world. I am becoming an even more "CRACKED OUT" product junky. LOL but with a cost effective twist. The recession is real and my desire to shop is too, so sample boxes are great for me.  I am able to dabble in a little of this and that by participating in sample clubs.  I can try new stuff with no commitment to full-size products.  What's even cooler? Well because I am a member if I want to get the full-size product I get an extra discount.  This month I tried Beauty Army.  Let me just say, if presentation is key Beauty Army has it nailed.  The little black box is just the absolute cutest!  Beauty Army is a little different than other sample boxes such as Birchbox or The Look bag, because each month you receive an email to log-in and select your samples.  I really like this feature.  Take a look at what I got for $12 this month.

A Pop of Polish: The Accent Mani

Hey Ladies,

I'm back with a Pop of Polish. This time I did an Accent Manicure inspired by an article I read in RedBook magazine. I usually polish a nail or two with sparkles or some kind of extra Pop each week, but for this manicure I left out the sparkles and went with this adorable lavender with a pink accent nail. Perfectly cute for the girlie girl in me. :)

Jezebel in the City

Hey Ladies,

Tuesday Jezebel Magazine a Modern Luxury publication had a cocktail hour at Nava Restaurant on Peachtree.  It started at 6:00 and was completely packed with the who's who of Atlanta by 7:00.  Tamara and I arrived fashionable tardy, because we were grossly Lost..lol... No matter what I always get turned around in Buckhead and Downtown Atlanta.

The guest were given two free drinks sponsored by Absolute Vodka.  I could only fight through the line to try the Absolute Citron Lemonade mixer, and it was great.  Free and Delicious.

Straighten It Out

My Hair, of course. What did you think I was talking about?  That phrase can be applied to a lot of things in life Huh?  Well tonight its about the Hair.  Our Crowning Glory.  I decided to straighten my hair this week because my mom is coming to town, and for some reason she is not a fan of my Curls.  So in the loving spirit of Mother's Day and my desire to avoid my Mom's clever sarcasm :-) I "Straightened It Out"  Take a Look.

My Best Friend's Bridal Shower

Hi, Ladies

I hope you all had a Beautiful weekend and a great start to the week.  This weekend I took a day trip to one of my best friend's bridal shower in Charlotte NC.  I got up early Sunday, drove to see my friend for her very special bridal shower, then I drove my butt back home to Atlanta that night.  I love the open road (In moderation).  I also got a chance to play with my new tripod a bit before I left.
