Toy Cooks! Creamy Alfredo Chicken and Shrimp

Hello Lovelies :)

I finally made something "semi" from scratch and took enough pictures to write a "proper" Food Blog!

*Fair Warning*  I have no idea of the dietary facts for this dish.  What I do know, It's Delicious! It may also immediately induce the mild urge to take a nap! Great Rule: SMALL PORTIONS!!!

I sought the help of my peers by using all allrecipes.com (quick and easy Alfredo sauce) with the main ingredients.

Main Ingredients

Creamy Alfredo Sauce:                            Toy's Extras:
1/2 cup butter                                         Parsley, Oregano, Basil
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese         2 Large Chicken Breast
2 teaspoons garlic powder                      Shrimp
2 cups milk                                             Pinch of salt
6 ounces grated Parmesan cheese           Broccoli
1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper

Easy Directions:

Melt butter in a medium, non-stick saucepan over medium heat. Add cream cheese and garlic powder, stirring with wire whisk until smooth. Add milk, a little at a time, whisking to smooth out lumps. Stir in Parmesan and pepper. Remove from heat when sauce reaches desired consistency. Sauce will thicken rapidly, thin with milk if cooked too long. Toss with hot pasta to serve.

YUM!
This was my first Alfredo sauce that was not out of a jar...YAY...it came out pretty tasty.  I am glad I was able to share this with you :).

Ciao Bella.
